Every single time I read behind the scenes Sonic movie trivia it's always something like "originally, Robotnik and Stone were supposed to just talk during this scene, but Jim Carrey and Lee Majdoub thought that it would be better if they made out and Jeff Fowler let them"
My favourite Sonic The Hedgehog 3 Letterboxd reviews:
That fan theory that Shadow saved Robotnik's life at the last second by teleporting and that Shadow, Robotnik and Stone all live together now somewhere is my favourite fan theory because this is how I imagine it and I truly hope that the fourth movie makes this canon:
And I think Shadow and Stone would be buddies cuz they have some things in common like the badass motorcycle skills for example.
The way Ivo looks down at Earth when Gerald says "You have nothing down there. No one who cares about you" cuz Ivo was thinking about a certain someone who does care about him, the person he left on Earth all alone.
And he tells Gerald "But I have you now" not something like "You're right, I have no one except you". He can't even say that no one cares about him on that planet because he knows that it's not true. He was fully aware of Stone's feelings, he couldn't even deny it anymore. I think that this was the moment he started regretting how he treated Stone, it wasn't Gerald's betrayal that made him feel that way. But when Gerald mentioned how he wants to destroy the whole planet and how all humans deserve to die, Ivo was thinking about Stone who will get killed if the planet explodes. A person who cares about him, and the person he cares about. Not only that Gerald betrayed Ivo but he threatened to kill Stone too and Ivo couldn't let him get away with that.
I just figured out that, when Robotnik says "I'll miss your lattes with steamed australian goat milk. I love the way you make them" it feels like he was sending Stone a secret message like "I'LL MISS YOUr lattes with steamed australian goat milk. I LOVE the way YOU make them".
They really ruined me they absolutely ruined me.
They asked Lee Majdoub what he thinks of Stobotnik vs what Stone thinks of it and this man chose violence omg the more I read the more painful it gets
I thought that the movie couldn't get more heartbreaking than it already is but I was so wrong
THIS IS WHAT DIRECTOR OF SONIC 3, JEFF FOWLER, SAID ABOUT STONE AND ROBOTNIK. I'M SCREAMING
"It's too dangerous and I'm not there to protect you"
This makes the whole ending even worse imagine how powerless he felt he couldn't protect him this time
WAIT SO YOU'RE TRYING TO TELL ME THAT STONE SAVED ROBOTNIK'S LIFE AFTER SONIC 2 AND TOOK CARE OF HIM AND ROBOTNIK FIRED HIM ANYWAY IN SONIC 3 BECAUSE HE DOESN'T TRUST HIM AFTER ALL THAT AND ROBOTNIK SURVIVED ALL THOSE INJURIES AND BROKEN BONES AND IT TOOK HIM SO LONG TO HEAL PHYSICALLY AND HE ALMOST HEALED EMOTIONALLY TOO ONLY FOR HIM TO BE BETRAYED BY HIS OWN FAMILY MEMBER AND STONE HAD TO WATCH HIM DIE AFTER ALL THE EFFORT HE PUT INTO TRYING TO SAVE HIM WHAT'S WRONG WITH THESE WRITERS WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL IS WRONG WITH THEM
I'm not done with this fandom yet
Agent Stone with Doctor Robotnik be like
I CRY EVERY DAMN TIME
This transition from a happy family to a love tragedy is destroying me 😭😭😭😭
Shadow will no longer be the only character who will remember his loved one whenever he looks at the sky full of stars...
Don't forget that Agent Stone was the one who told Doctor about his technology being used by someone, which led to them finding Gerald which led to Robotnik dying in the end. Of course, it's not his fault, but if Robotnik really is DEAD dead then we all know that Stone will blame himself for this forever.
