When bitter/critical »»-----------► 1 Corinthians 5:13
The Creator of the Universe leans down so that a child, once and again, may say, like a butterfly against skin, “I’m afraid.”
The Creator of the Universe does not frown, does not even shout. Instead, He leans further down to take His child’s hand.
It’s easy as Christians to want to give into our sadness and wallow into negative thoughts - but that’s how the enemy intends to establish altars and witchcraft in your mind. Manipulation through thoughts of low self-esteem, pettiness, depression, anxiety, fear, negative criticism, and negative self-talk, all build an altar against the image and design God has made you in reflection of Him. He does not see you as worthless, troublesome, and too much. Jesus had chosen the most unlikable and challenging people with weaknesses and flaws we all commonly share, and He gladly offered them to the Father to use for His kingdom.
