My friend was at MoMa and sent me a photo of a Kiki Smith’s collage saying it reminds her of my work I’m gonna cry!!

I want to make a zinelike blog about my travels and discovering Florence/Italy but cannot come up with an art style that I'd both like and be able to maintain :((

Little PSA: sorry I have only been posting these little "photodiary" mobile cam snaps instead of any more refined art but I've moved countries which is pretty stressful for me - I have some overdue commissions which I'm working on and my new laptop doesn't like me, really. Once I'm more acclimated and get back to having fun, I'll be posting more regularly. I also plan on announcing something bigger soon!

I'm not sure if my collages have any meaning, but looking at textures of paper and symbols clash and match when put next to each other makes me ecstatic
