Hi all DBD fans,
I really recommend not just spamming @netflix with TV show requests for Dead Boy Detectives Season 2 (though please do!), but also writing to their customer service team. They can then forward this on and make sure our voice is heard.
You can see what I wrote below to give you a hint of what to write. I have anxiety so was worried about chatting with someone but you can just use the live chat to submit the message, they will confirm it, and then it's all done. Took me 1 min.
Please help us fight for this amazing show!

As someone pointed out on Twitter (read the Tweet HERE), Netflix decided to release the news on Friday night without saying anything personally, and their offices will reopen as soon as Tuesday (due to some holiday in America or something) so they hope to get the general bad feeling over with. Don't stop share/reblog. At least, please, try to do something until Tuesday and I beg of you to REBLOG this and not just like it. We should try and work together on this, even if it sounds stupid and even if it won't lead to anything, but at least we could say we tried, let's not give up. We are a wonderful fandom, they are a wonderful crew who deserve so much better and we all deserve a second season.

Suggest Dead Boy Detectives To Netflix
Netflix has a suggestion page where you can ask for movies or tv shows to be added to the catalogue. Fill in all three suggestion lines with "Renew Dead Boy Detectives" or just "Dead Boy Detectives".
That's not what the page is for, but they have to check that eventually, and if there's a fucking massive amount of people saying this, it will send a message!! It's literally super fucking easy, and there's no limit to how many times you can submit.

I think the number of episodes in a season are like the number of songs on an album, it’s ideally somewhere between 10 and 15
6 episodes is not a season, just like 6 songs is not an album, that’s an EP
Uhhhh someone made a post recommending a show to watch while waiting for DBDA to get renewed but I can’t find the post, so if anyone knows any shows that are like DBDA and/or lockwood and co please tell me
So I watched episode one of dead boy detectives but then netflix stopped working so here’s some thoughts on the first episode because I can’t watch the rest of the series or look at the tag because of potential spoilers
- They’re supposed to be in London at the start of the episode right? So why do they have the American version of Cluedo aka Clue in their cupboard? Is it supposed to mean something or were the set designers just not aware that Clue has a totally different name in the UK?
- I was so confused about how old Crystal was supposed to be especially after Charles mentioned them being the same age. I straight up thought she was supposed to be in her 40s or something which was confusing as hell but eventually I figured out she’s a teenager which is… honestly still confusing because she definitely looks like an adult to me.
- Speaking of Crystal how has no one brought up the fact that her name is a football club? Especially Charles “laddiest lad to ever lad” Rowland? I don’t even like sports but it would be the first thing I asked about, like were her parents really into English football or is it total coincidence?
- The pacing of the show is really weird, I assume it’s because it’s the first episode so they’re trying to cram a bunch of information into a short amount of time but personally I don’t think it worked that well. It felt rushed in a lot of places and a lot of information probably could have been left for a later episode. I’m gonna keep watching though because it’ll most likely get better from here onward.
- A lot of the dialogue screams “British character written by an American”, like idk why but the delivery of the British slang comes off as unnatural at times.
Anyways my dad better figure out how to fix the tv soon because these characters will not leave my head
