I really like Noise Marines from Warhammer, but only 1 modern model of them exists. So kitbashed a whole Kill Team of them, in some of my favourite colours :3

I’m so so sorry to inform; he died a hero (was crushed behind a bookshelf)
Have considered rebuilding him, to be even more ridiculous, like for instance this was how he originally looked;
And at the time it looked utterly stupid to me but now when I’ve made even crazier kitbashes it’s honestly kinda funny
Just because she’s built like a war machine, doesn’t mean she has to avoid the ballroom.
Saw some cool art featuring a giant hat and realised I’ve only done a few big hats before, desperately wanted todo one and it turned into a rather elegant design in the end (thankfully, I was worried she’d end up looking like a pimp lol). I was tempted to actually paint this up with proper Mechanicus imagery, but decided to make it a little bit ambiguous so I might be able to use her as an Inquisitor and for other games.
If you’re wondering about that obscenely bright red, I used Rogue Hobbies’ signature paintset with just a contrast red over the top, created enough depth while still keeping the vibrancy of her paint. The resin pieces are some super super cool assassins from Anvil Industry
As Magical Warfare became mechanised, and Mages Towers’ fell far behind established lines and combat zones, those powerful Wizards needed to be moved up into the fight with something that’ll house their great magicks and be just as defensible.
I’ve finally made a Tonk! I had told Apocrypha Now in the past I’d do one but I never got around to it, and it’s been a a while now but I’ve been constantly thinking about Narcoleptic Wizard‘s Aethertonk challenge. Welp, finally decided todo it and I’m super happy with the results, it’s not as silly as most tonks are which is a bit of a shame but I definitely think it’s badass atleast—and I’m very happy that the turret AND wheels fully function, no need to pretend it moves across the board I can just push it and it goes.
Transcendence can be quite lonely, the only thing like yourself in your own universe, waiting Eons for the next being to achieve what you have done.
This is a super wacky and insane kitbash, I had been watching the Dungeon in Delicious anime and I really liked the Mad Mage’s design and usage of his spell book, my friend was gonna kitbash something related to him as well so I thought I’d dig into one of my Frostgrave boxes for a book and give a go at it. For the painting I wanted to explicitly avoid all rules; no skin tones, things like leather or armour not to be painted as leather or armour, and to atleast incorporate silly spirals as a college mate of mine loves them. How I painted it kinda reminds me of that anciently cursed Ring point-and-click game.
The streets have never run with so much CYMK before.
These minis have actually been collecting dust for almost a month, finally got around to using them for testing them with Rogue Hobbie’s signature range. Absolutely fantastic paints and I really enjoyed making some super bright minis again which I immensely enjoy. I’ll probably just use these lot for generic Cyberpunk 2020 characters to populate the world.
While most of them are kitbashes with stargrave , the one is pink is only a slightly modified pewter mini from Northstarfigs
Prepare to be assimilated. Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance. Is. Futile.
While making my Odo mini, I was actually watching Voyager in the background and (controversial) god I just love Voyager Borg so much. Someone suggested I should make one and I thought why not, should be easy enough todo, used up a lot of bits lol, but this came out looking fantastic and very Borg-y.
Some plunder Felstad for it’s lost treasures, other see the value in it’s ancient and SHREDDABLE architecture.
This is a silly one, but I saw a meme of a skating wizard and thought; that would be a pretty sick wizard and had to make some mini versions of them. The painting could’ve been a whole lot better, but I’m gonna be honest I had no real plans for it and really only focused on the kitbashing.
Conjuration scholars never have an issue when it comes to the advice “the right tool for the right job”
Got myself Frostgrave‘s new Cultist II box and the bodies are super dynamic and got me thinking of grand spells, and that axe piece I’ve had laying around for ages and always wanted todo some sort of Bound Weapon like in Elder Scrolls, so this was a perfect kit to try this out on. The apprentice is less notable, wanted to have a bunch of flying daggers, not too sure how well that one turned out honestly.
“Hrumph” - Odo’s most iconic auditory emanation.
His face is a bit scuffed lol, but ah well I’m happy even somewhat resembles him. I found this absolutely amazing head in Stargrave Crew I which looked like a Changeling, there’s even a female version in Crew II, and I knew what I had todo no matter how hard it is to sculpt a 1mm x 1mm nose! In case you’re wondering what on Earth that base is, that’s the carpet they have in the docking tube corridors, always thought it looked like a good design for a flag :3
The 🟨Cube had been waiting for Eons in that Tomb, dust created from organic matter neatly avoiding it’s faces—debris and rock that have collapsed from above somehow not burying it—waiting and waiting for the right mortal fool to see such a bright ‘treasure’ for the taking.
I still have a bunch of Apocrypha Now’s Yellow Cube heads laying around, was fiddling with random pieces, Badsquiddo minis and anything really off and on for the last year. I came across that interesting base piece and immediately I started thinking of a temple thing, literally every single piece (including the base) are leftover bits from my bits box and I glued together this eldritch horror pretty quickly—with only a little bit of fine tuning. Really happy todo another Yellow Cube
Needed a good pallet cleanser, and my friend wanted to buy some Japanese historical minis, so I thought I’d have a go at making some fantasy characters with em.
I did originally plan to make them historically accurate, the final mini on the right I even painstakingly recreated a real life weapon with, but I just got Rogue Hobbies’ new paints and I really really really wanted to experiment with em—pretty happy with how bright they are!
Here little gay people in my phone, here’s some serving Rocker Girl for my Cyberpunk 2020 campaign I’m playing rn
My old Escher gangster gals are done, I had actually planned to paint them earlier in the month but I was waiting for some paints to arrive—which never came, but I was itching todo em so I just painted them with what I got.
I did have the intention to slightly kitbash them and maybe have them in a pride scheme, but honestly potentially destroying miniatures that are older than me felt a bit wrong and when I got to painting I just thought their old schemes are super super effective anyway. Preserving their original looks is pretty neat I think, I do have Escher minis, so these gals will join them on that shelf.
Been playing tons of Roboquest, and seeing the little Jukebot made me instantly start looking for bits to make him
The smallest mini I’ve ever made
The way of the Gun is a magical school many have forgotten
Some cool Gun Wizards inspired by the old GW SMG Wizard, I wanted these guys to be playable for Frostgrave so I even created some Explosive Rune tokens fitting their theme
As a kithashing challenge with my friend, I needed to make a Sniper Knight, and thought it would be a fun addition to my old Gun Wizards
GW do make LOTR minis, bolters not included
Pretty much what the original inspiration was lol
I’m surprised I’ve never seen anyone take their LOTR models todo that with
