If I had a room this good, it will never be clean. Seriously though, blinds are incredibly awesome creations of man. It gives you the comfort of privacy and the beauty of filtered daylight in the morning. Imagine waking up without actually being blinded by the sun? Yes, it's that good.
This should need no explanation. A room of many windows. As long as they're bulletproof, I'm not complaining.
There is so much to take from this photo, from the stringed photo headboard to the lamp as well as the ceiling lights and the windows. Don't forget the bed colours and the wall texture. Take your pick and play with your options. Let your imagination run wild!
Placing your fireplace near the windows is a great way to illuminate the place and create a sense of brightness inside the room.
Windows can make or break a room. Too much can be a problem and the less of it makes the room tight and boring. Make sure to find a balance, but still keep your privacy. It is important to remember who will be using the room, his/her personality and how he/she would fair in a room with certain specific windows.
Putting a plant in a room can give of a native feel and relaxing vibe. If you are the type who loves nature, then go for plant accents like the one in the photo or be more subtle with a plant on the corner beside your door instead.
