Isabel Martinez (@isabelitavirtual), a copywriter who lives in Barcelona, first picked up a camera when she joined Instagram in 2011. For last week’s haute couture week in Paris, she collaborated with W Magazine (@wmag), shooting at shows from Valentino (@maisonvalentino) to Dior (@dior). “One day, Melvin Sokolsky told me, ‘Only beauty can save the world.’ That’s precisely why I love fashion,” Isabel says. “It’s a way to connect with beauty, a way to connect with poetry and a way to connect with myself,” she says.
In Paris, Isabel captured her favorite photo backstage at the Viktor & Rolf (@viktor_and_rolf) show. “The model is hidden behind the dress she’s wearing,” Isabel says. “She doesn’t look at the camera, but sometimes to be hidden is the best way to show you.”

Since it is #FashionFridays and I have not been able to post an entry since the typhoon, I'm gonna start with a bang and a video courtesy of Claire Marshall.
