Here's another inspiration that would make budget-saving a breeze. Turn the attic into a sanctuary with just a mattress, a carpet and a striking piece of lamp design. If you're up to the challenge, head to the nearest thrift shop and haggle your way to a classic yet elegant piece of chandelier. And voila! You have a haven inside your very own home.

If I had a room this good, it will never be clean. Seriously though, blinds are incredibly awesome creations of man. It gives you the comfort of privacy and the beauty of filtered daylight in the morning. Imagine waking up without actually being blinded by the sun? Yes, it's that good.

A black and white themed kitchen always gives off a modern vibe. Add up a bricked wall and a marble flooring and you've got modern with a twist. It takes practice to perfect this kind of balance, but once you've got it, the practice is more than worth it.

Instead of a shelf, try to use a staircase-like platform for all your decors and small trinkets. Not only will it be accessible for the little ones, but it can also be a great way to display your stuff without taking to much space.

An earth palette with an ivory base can look dull, so make sure to add a pop of color that will compliment your base palette. Try using two colours like the one in the photo or a different furniture all together and see what you come up with. Experiment with different colours and have fun!

Personally, I am in-love with this design. It makes me want to crawl to my bed and just cuddle with my pillows.

See to it that it blends with your palette and not stay away from it. Finally, try to use your window as a headboard for a change. It creates a luminous light that will put you in a good mood when you wake up.
