Tokwa Peñaflorida is love, as always.
I am in love with this design. I try to do quick sketches before I sleep just so I keep improving and honestly, by far, this is one of my favourites. It has that sense of mystery that will just draw you in. Or maybe, that's just me (I'm biased).
As you might have noticed, I love doodling faces. It's my usual default mode when I'm gonna draw something. I'm not into shapes and crazy patterns. When I doodle, I automatically resort to facial features like eyes, lips, ears and so on. This doodle was made during my work break and honestly, I love it.
This was suppose to be a Portrait challenge, but I decided to amp it up a little. My friend and I decided to use one medium per challenge and not use anything else. This is a mirror image of him, instead of the exact image (I basically forgot how he looked like and decided to draw from memory, forgetting the fact that it was his left eye that had a patch), but still, I was really satisfied with how it turned out.
"Drowning in Colour" is the first piece I did with the use of watercolour as its general medium. I first concentrated on the eyes and the other features with coloured pencils and finished the rest with my watercolour. I feel like it turned out great, but this photo was shot right after I finished the whole thing so I think you can understand if the colours hasn't settled yet. I was just too excited to share it.
Handle your head is a birthday gift I made for a friend of mine. Unfortunately, we haven't got the time to see each other yet, so until now, I still have "Handle Your Head" lurking in my closet.
Lofts are a great way to practice the creative in you. Maximise your space by not using the space and creating an off area for all your needs. If you're not sure what color to use, start with ebony and ivory. You can never go wrong with black and white. Have fun designing!
