Another Mushroom Fairy concept illustration, this time showing a mysterious glowing rock found in the center of the mushroom forest. Does it have a link to the origins of the Mushroom Fairies? .. Well probably.
I don't know if I like this one yet- but it was a good little experiment anyway.
I have books for sale!
I have officially opened up shop, making my two children's books available as PDFs and I am also selling physical copies of my Orchestra of the Damned paperback.
Orchestra of the Damned (Now available!)
I will be giving away a free copy of both PDF books to one lucky peep on August 10th 2013, so like and/or reblog to enter into the giveaway! (Please note: a like and a reblog counts as 2 entries.)

Thus starts a new personal project called The Grimmest Grimm, where each month I will create a new illustration based on an obscure and dark fairy tale but make it accessible to a picture book audience (kids)!
Check out the rest of CreatureMag too, everything is so awesome!!
I'm still here...
Setting up my summer exhibition at uni has been keeping me very busy, as have some arty projects that I can't show you guys yet. (I'd like to, but Im not allowed.)
However, here are some sketches from my sketchbook, of an upcoming illustration based on Mr.Fox- a very pleasant English fairy tale about serial murder and such. Yay! Im hoping to get this done over the weekend.
YAAAAY
Thank you very much to 1ofmanylaurens, nicolasrix and clairealmon for making me remember that I am not alone in getting art block and being un-motivated! Thank you for your tips too, I put them together and me and my sister came up with a strategy.
She would say random thing such as 'animal wearing a suit jacket' or 'annoyed cat' and I would have to draw them straight away in pen (no sketching in pencil) and fill and A4 sheet until it was no more room.
This is what I came up with. I have chosen some of my favorite little ideas that I would love to expand upon- particularly the businessman wolf who is late for work! =)
Hopefully this will spark some motivation and get me working on some personal pieces. Thanks guys! (and my patient sister!)
Mostly finished my 3 Pinocchio illustrations! Have a sneaky-peek for your troubles.
Can anyone guess my colour pallete from this example? (Hint- 3 colours I use ALOT)
I am busy working on one of my Pinocchio illustrations, and put it into silhouette to see what it looked like...
I rather like it! Can you guess the scene? (I think its pretty obvious?)

I am posting this as a huge thank you to everyone that gave me feedback on my business card design- You were all a huge help, and it was lovely to get back such a nice response.
Right, no more Pinocchio till I finish the project... maybe...
Have some silhouettes of my two most favourite characters from Pinocchio! I had a lot of fin coming up with these designs. =)
The next part of Tony Camehl's 'The Spear, the Silver Tear and the First Word' has been released! I think this is one of the darkest illustrations I have ever drawn, but fun none-the-less!

A little light reading in preparation from some upcoming projects in the last few months of my degree.
I can't get enough of this beautifully illustrations version of Wind in the Willows by David Roberts. I dislike the story, but the illustrations make up for that!
