Just two Garden Golem dads, making an honest wage and putting their best selves forward to support their adopted Golem child.
I painted some lilies for my Mum! Thanks for being awesome Mum!

I introduce, the most civilized and sophisticated of all the Mushroom Fairies.. The Mushtaches!
Here is a pattern I made for everyone, as a present for of the recent lack of art posts. The top one is the repeatable pattern and below it is an example of it tiled. (My pattern skills need a little work.)
Feel free to use, but please credit me where you can- or fear the wrath of the mushroomunicorn!
Found this while looking through old sketchbooks. We were challenged to create a scene that had 9 characters in it, all arguing over sharing a bill at a restaurant. Of course, I didn't go for any normal dinner scene!
Here is Beauty and her Beasts dining at Baba's Cauldron Cafe. The Beasts ordered eyeball soup and eyeball sundaes but Beauty will not pay an equal share of the bill (for obvious reasons), arguing ensues...
A rare completely traditional piece!
My full Mr.Fox illustration is no up on CreatureMag! Go check it out!!!
Thus starts a new personal project called The Grimmest Grimm, where each month I will create a new illustration based on an obscure and dark fairy tale but make it accessible to a picture book audience (kids)!
Check out the rest of CreatureMag too, everything is so awesome!!
Orchestra of the Damned gallery up on Behance!
Go check it out!
Trying out some new Photoshop brushes and drawing some Ni No Kuni fanart! Puss in Boats is by far the best familiar EVER! So stylish
Such a wonderful game!
You guys think the rendering looks alright? I don't usually like working in black and white- but I think I have found a way to do nicely?
Almost finished the project now, just the front cover etc and then I can start on Pinocchio! Woot!
I am hugely thankful for the offers of music for the Orchestra of the Damned project!
Unfortunately I can only use one piece for the book, but I will compensate any extra effort put into the other pieces by creating separate illustrations for each in the form of postcards or similar. I never expected to get the offers that I did, so I would like to really make it worth everyone's time and effort!
Here are some WIPs of two more of the characters- Can you guess the instruments? (sorry for bad photos)
Rendering experiment for The Orchestra of the Damned project. You might notice the music pattern on his shoulder- this is how I intend to implement the original piece of music I requested.
This character has an eastern feel, but there are a variety of cultural influences for the orchestra as a whole.
I wanted to warm up this morning, so I got back into the Pokedesign challenge mood!
SEVIIIPEEERRR
(The bottom one is supposed to be a gluttonous one, but I don't think I pulled it off very well?)
The drawing gods have taken pity on me today
I don't even know how I managed to do this!
Workin' on a super secret commission! =)
