[ID: A short comic drawn sketchily in monochrome, with a couple of red accents. The first, small panel shows a news headline on a wall which reads "SPIDER-WOMAN SAVES DAY AGAIN!" followed by a much larger panel showing the rest of the wall it's attached to, which has been covered by a giant web that reads "I'M NONBINARY ASSHOLES", and then in smaller text "MY NAME IS WEAVER!" and "WE'VE BEEN OVER THIS". A small, wide panel reads "the next day:" and the final panel is of another news headline that reads "SPIDER-WOMAN SAYS SHE'S NONBINARY", with a spidersona/OC character below it shown from the back, with their head bowed and their hands up against the wall either side of the poster, shaking with frustration. End ID.]

I think weaver's actual nemesis is their universe's equivalent of j jonah jameson, who is not actively malicious but IS extremely dense

"I'm going to find the thing that's doing this and I'm going to break its heart."

[ID: A painterly style digital painting of Red from Transistor, - a thin, white woman with curled red hair, wearing an oversized jacket with a fur ruff coming out from the collar. She's holding her sword (?) close to her so the red "eye" of it is in front of her face, with her arm nearest to the viewer supporting it from the back, holding it as if in an embrace. Her expression is solemn, holding both sorrow and anger. The first image is in full colour, mostly red around the "eye" of the sword and the glow it's casting onto Red, with blues and yellows filling out the rest of the image, and a glitch effect around the blade. The second image is a version without the glitch effects, and the third is a desaturated version. End ID.]

I didn't think I was going to finish the painting part this fast but I ended up with a bunch of time to kill today so here it is o: This line is still so firmly lodged in my brain

(I haven't finished the game yet so please no spoilers!)

[ID: Two sketchy drawings of SecUnit from The Murderbot Diaries, depicted as a humanoid of athletic build with short, messy straight dark hair. In the first image it's standing in a neutral pose with two small drones flying around it, looking off to one side with an uncomfortable/annoyed expression. It's wearing a loose hoodie and cargo pants, and a high-collared t-shirt which reads in small text, "If you can read this stop looking at me."

The second image also shows it standing in a neutral pose, wearing the "one outfit, 235 pockets" look from this tweet. Most notably this consists of a baseball cap with pockets on it, a face mask with a pocket, a jacket with pockets covering every square inch of it, a backpack also covered in pockets, a harness that adds two more small backpacks across the chest, a bum bag/fanny pack, cargo pants with pockets all the way down either side, and shoes with pockets on the sides. Several arrows point to different parts of it and all read "pockets." End ID.]

It looks like the snippet of the murderbot screenplay I posted is going around a little more & it reminded me I never posted a link to the expanded version here!

I've posted up to chapter 2 so far, but I have a bit of a buffer between what's done & what's posted. Gonna try for the whole book so feel free to come drop some encouragement lol

I said I’d post this the other day and then Completely forgot but here is the first bit of…… murderbot the movie?? I don’t even know if I can call this a fic but it’s basically how I would want a visual adaptation of the series to be, so it’s in (attempted) script format, hopefully it’s still decent to read :v

[Opening: fade from black into a slow drone sweep over an alien planetary landscape. The music is dramatic, swelling. We see stretches of ocean, then beaches–]

VOICEOVER: [Sigh.]

[–plains, mountains, jungle–]

V/O (MUTTERED): Come on. This isn’t a nature documentary, no-one cares about the stupid planet.

[ID: A coloured sketch of SecUnit from The Murderbot Diaries, sitting in a blocky blue chair. It's wearing a hoodie, a high-collared t-shirt, and slim-cut cargo pants in shades of black and dark blue, and has light brown skin and short, messy hair which is straight and black. It's staring straight ahead with a neutral expression, and there is a sign hung around its neck which reads in capitals "I am not doing nothing / I am catching up on my media / Do not bother me unless it is an EMERGENCY". End ID.]

Kravitz week, day 4 - Reaper powers/Skeletons

The first time your death incarnate boyfriend decides to fly home instead of interplanar portalling and he almost ends up killing you after all

Bonus:

-

[Image description: A five-panel greyscale comic featuring Taako and Kravitz from The Adventure Zone.

First panel: Taako, a chubby elf with freckles and long wavy hair pulled into a side braid, is lying on his back across a sofa, viewed from profile. He’s wearing a loose t-shirt and short shorts, reading a book that he’s holding up in front of him, and his ear is twitching as the SFX ‘flap flap flap’ is coming from off-panel.

Second panel: Taako has his head tilted backwards to look at a large black bird that’s landed on the arm of the sofa above his head. He’s saying “Oh. Hey, birdie.”

Third panel: Taako goes back to his reading. The bird is crouched on the arm of the sofa as if trying to get a better look at the book.

Fourth panel: The bird looks back at Taako and starts to ask, “What are you r—”

Fifth panel: Taako has thrown himself partially off the sofa and onto the floor, shouting “F-FUCKING FANTASY JESUS H. SHITTING CHRIST—” while the bird (Kravitz) flaps its wings in alarm.

The bonus image is a rough sketch of Taako lying face-down on the floor next to the sofa, gripping Kravitz’s trouser-leg and saying “I stared death in the face”. Kravitz, a half-elven man of medium build with tightly-curled hair tied up in a half-bun, is crouched next to the sofa with a fond frown on his face, saying “Now you’re just being dramatic,” to which Taako replies, “He was pretty cute.” End desc.]
