excuse me zeno (zenos?) do you play overwatch? and if so who is your favorite character?
No I do not: Blizzivision is Dead to Me u_u u_u u_u
However, I DO like the art direction and character design for the game, and how they’ve applied the LoL approach to character-choice to a Team Fortress setting.
I was pretty disappointed in the way Valve went with TF2 after its initial release -there just didn’t seem to be a firm idea of what they wanted to do with weapon releases, they REALLY screwed up the balancing(which was already weak given the changes inherent in TF2 like kill cams and much smaller maps), and there wasn’t a sense that Valve really cared one way or another about supporting the game- so, in a Fondly Regarding sort of way, I’d be Gratified to see Blizzard take a more focused, interested, and Professional approach to the genre, which it seems to be doing.
IDK if I like the massive hitboxes(though maybe this makes it less twitchy? That’s def a thing FPSs[First Person Shooters, just in case any of you Dear Readers doesn’t know the lingo] need to address, as a genre) and, while I think the idea of including old-school fps hacks as unabashedly OP Ultimates is interesting(wall shooting, auto-aim, auto-headshot, no-clipping, observer-mode locomotion, ect), I’m not sure if they’ve applied that idea evenly? Like, obvsl I haven’t played the game and neither have I spent much time watching clips of it so my sense of its balance is probably off, but some folks Ultimates just seem much MUCH stronger/more useful than other folks :T
