There WAS a really important post going around about antisemites trying to use the understandable anger over Israel's violence against Palestinians to recruit, but unfortunately it's Locked now so I just want to put it out there:
Israel is NOT Judaism
Israel is NOT All Jews
Israel is NOT the Jewish person you are interacting with
Israel is MOST CERTAINLY not the Reform and Conservative Jewish communities in the US; branches of the faith which state-backed religious authorities in Israel have been making rather unflattering statements about since ~2000
What Israel is doing right now in unconscionable and the Palestinian people have the right to Live, to Be Safe, to be Happy, to their Possessions, to their History, to Legal Equality with their neighbors, to Self Expression, to Self Determination, to Control over their OWN BODIES, and every other Freedom and Protection nature clearly and loudly declares through the simple language of Human thriving.
Anyone who would try to redirect justified anger over the denial of the above for one group of humans into the very ideology which has denied those self-same rights to Jews until, like, 70 YEARS AGO isn't someone you should be listening to!
