SO MY THOUGHT PROCESS was what if the goblins were just horrible dude-bros from another dimension who get really drunk and fuck with people just like Earth frat boys. theres a couple of bonus references to the actual encounter such as the Bulleit bourbon (a Kentucky thing) and the notch in the ear of the one goblin (the initial report said they fired at and hit one of the monsters)

inspired by the folklore where I grew up in Fairfax County, Virginia
"Bunnyman Bridge" is hardly scary irl, nor does it hold up to the rumors passed around middle school lunch tables. I heard about the Bunnyman well into high school, people were always trying to freak each other out with dares around halloween. The story goes that a man wearing a bunny suit murdered citizens that went beneath his bridge with a hatchet- and his ghost appears on Hallows Eve to chase away intruders. The only actual truth to the tale is that while there were murders, it was only two victims, and the bunny suit detail gets passed around because, well, its pretty fucking creepy (Silent Hill fans would definitely understand why)

This was the most frustrating fun I've ever had. I went thru a period where I was honestly terrified of using acrylic paints because of a teacher I had in college. I was taught that I had to abide by strict rules of the medium else I was doing it incorrectly and it really got to me. I haven't picked up the brush, put it to canvas, and finished something for maybe over a year. I am thoroughly pleased with myself, despite the shortcomings of what colour mixes I could make with what I had on hand.
