I got to work on two pieces (that I couldn’t post in their entirety just yet) that really pushed me to step out of my portrait shaped comfort zone. You can actually see the results of that in my June, July, September and November pieces! Out of these, I’m proudest of my DABB piece (Nov) and my FoA piece (Sep) because they really hammered home to me that I’m actually moving away from portrait-only art. It’s a slow process for me but slow and steady wins the race, right?
As for my hopes for 2025 regarding my art - I want to get more comfortable with letting my art stay more loose in parts and be less focused on every little detail.
Be kind to yourselves! ( ˘ ³˘)♥
