Other Vampire Courts
Grey Court:
- Considered a cross between Black & White, being beautiful, undead monsters.
- Have their human souls but is twisted by their equivalent of the Hunger
- Have a number of "sub-courts"
- Claim biblical origin
- Would have the numbers and man power to be major contenders in the supernatural world if they weren't caught in a centuries long civil war between three rival factions. Even intrafaction cooperation is shaky. Lacks a proper "Grey King", though their mythical progenitor could fit the bill if he's still around.
- Blood is highly addictive like Red Court spit, and also belies some power to the thrall. They re-use a word for another supernatural creature to describe this.
- Each turning of a new vampire is weaker than the last, which is another mark against their long term prospects as a great power.
- Stake through the heart only paralyzes them.
- Bodies rot to expected corpse state upon death.
Violet Court:
- Speculated to not be truly undead but extremely hardy if so. IE, getting dusted and then brought to life on the regular.
- They have children, so they must be alive, though they can infect normal humans with their curse as well. They do this very rarely, however.
- Many of their powers and traits come from their heads and personal perceptions. IE, frightened of holy symbols iff they recognize it as such.
- The thirst for blood can be replaced with something else. It exists entirely in their head, though they lose much of their power making this sacrifice.
- Despite being so hard to kill, permanently, they're not all that powerful compared to other creatures.
Maroon Court:
- Speculated to be failed experiment hybridizing Black & Red Court, a dead corpse possessed by a demonic copy of the original.
- Relatively weak as supernatural creatures go.
- "Flesh mask" is very tame, mostly just look human and don't rot like corpses. Older Maroon Court Vampires start to have their true demonic spirit break fourth.
- Turn to dust upon death.
- Make great spooky-shit barometers as they are unconsciously drawn to places of bad mojo.
Azure Court:
- Very powerful but also extremely rare. "Azure King", the progenitor, went on a rampage and wiped out all his progeny.
- Prospective vamp must be a virgin or else they just rise up as an undead monster borrowing that same name.
- Only two vampires of the Azure Court are alive today, including the Azure King, and they both work for the British government.
Fun fact: In this model, there are three whole ass people [looks it up] four! Four vampires that each claim to be Vlad Tepes III. One Dracula, two Dracula, three Dracula, four Dracula! Count them, that's four Dracula, ah-ah-ah! They are not allowed to be in a room together.
