Luke didn’t steal Grogu. Grogu went with Luke voluntarily.

This idea that the Jedi are a bunch of baby snatchers is completely unfounded on anything in canon.

And for those saying it was cruel to spilt Din and Grogu up, or that Luke should have done as Ahsoka did and refused to train Grogu:

  1. The whole point of Din’s quest was to reunite the Child with its people; Grogu was raised for at least 20 years in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.
  2. Ahsoka was the one who told Din to take Grogu to Tython to try and find another Jedi; she just didn’t want to train him herself because of her experience with Anakin falling.
  3. Not only did Luke explicitly say that Grogu wanted Din’s permission to go, but it was Grogu who reached out to Luke in the first place.

Tl;dr: Luke Skywalker isn’t a damn baby snatcher, you guys are just mean.

For those of you out there saying you’re upset Luke was the Jedi, tell me, who do we know of that:

  • Is an absolute powerhouse of the Force
  • Has a very strong connection to the light side
  • Actually has some background knowledge about Grogu’s species
  • Is actively looking for Jedi students
  • Understands that attachment can be a good thing and knows how to foster it the right way

Look me in the eye and tell me Luke isn’t the perfect person for Grogu to be trained by right now

Also, Luke’s massive Force signature alone was probably enough to yank Grogu’s attention across the galaxy from the seeing stone
