R2 would give Din so many shovel talks, Din obviously has no idea what’s being said bc he doesn’t know binary. And Luke will never translate what is being said
Somehow the beeps sound threatening, and the way Luke glares tells Din that it’s not anything good
it would make Din low-key grumpy that a droid is obviously threatening him. And after their first meeting where he pulled a blaster on R2 - and his courting of Luke - it takes forever for them to be on good terms
Bc obviously R2 needs to make sure Din is good enough for Luke
