Another dump of Pjo trio drawings !
annabeth and percy are so funny because they tiptoe around each other and their feelings for four years and then they start dating and just, like, go full-send
Did you miss the portion of ttc where Percy says he's going to ask Annabeth out and then Athena tells him that she doesn't approve so instead Percy asks Annabeth to dance????
did you miss the portion where he doesn't actually say that, he just thinks that "there was a lot I'd wanted to say to Annabeth" ....also crazy it's almost like him asking her doesn't mean she would've said yes....it's almost like they had so many opportunities to date if they wanted to from ttc to tlo and yet they don't until after the battle....it's almost like annabeth literally says "come back alive, then we'll see"...it's almost like nearly every time percy tries to bring up the topic of them annabeth changes the subject for the rest of the series until after the battle. crazy. wild. it's almost like the issue is greater than "people competing for their attention"
comments on book!percy art saying he looks like luke,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, fuck you rick riordan FUCK YOU
Lord Toby Stephens also present in the new season and I will sleep peacefully
True Love
The gods are capable of feeling, including love, but true love? A love so deep that you sacrifice everything for it? And not for a lover but for a son? I loved exploring this through Poseidon and Percy.
I believe that there is true love between Percy and Annabeth and certainly Annabeth as a knight who saves Prince Percy was a fun idea but for this AU (which has been living in my head since I was very active in the fandom and which I particularly care about) I wanted that true parental love would break the curse, as in Once Upon a Time.

The way that percy prays to his mom instead of his dad because he doesn't think his dad cares vs the way that sally doesn't have to say a single word when she's praying to poseidon because she knows that he's going to be there...not even a "please" or a whisper of his name she just dropped the match and he materialized because he's ALWAYS been there for them in the only way he could be
annabeth saying to percy after the ares fight “and you thought you were just a kid” because percy is finally coming into his own as a demigod and realizing his full potential and power, and then later percy saying to annabeth “just be a kid” because he helped annabeth let go of her blind belief in the gods and her soldier mentality and helped her connect to her mortality… in this essay i will
cause of death: poseidon’s smile and unspoken “yes” in answer to percy’s question of do you dream about mom? (and me?)
this scene is sooo important to me like the first time percy sees his dad and its him saving his life? surrendering to his brother just to protect his son? they captured this scene so well.
I also love this scene because from this view, you can see how Poseidon is standing. He's blocking, he's protecting, he seems unthreatening at first glance, but he is also tense through his whole back and shoulders and it gives this subtle impression that he would fight to the bitter end if Zeus didn't accept his surrender just to save his boy. And I love that.
#HIS SMILE!!! #you can literally see how much that meant to him 🥹
House of Hades // The Chalice of the Gods.
Rick Riordan Im begging you, at least do a quick search in the ebooks of your books before writing. Turns out Percy and Annabeth had already met Geras in Tartarus, literally like two months before the events of Chalice of the Gods. And not only that, they tricked him and Nyx, you would assume the god would remember that.
All of the pjo fans going "the show redeemed poseidon" no, it didn't. He was always like this you just didn't pick up on the context. Amen
can we talk about walker’s ability to act with his eyes…they’re so expressive in every scene and perfectly capture the anger, fear, and despair percy feels throughout tlt, but most importantly they exude love and longing in a way that’s practically tangible when looking at sally, grover, and especially annabeth in some of the finale scenes…rent was DUE
percy immediately apologizing to luke after he hurts him even though he is literally being betrayed because his fatal flaw is loyalty and he cannot fathom hurting the people he cares about… meanwhile luke turning around and hitting percy back without hesitation… i feel sick
Master of facial expression…
