Starry Night
((The moment she came back, @drew-winchester made such a beautiful piece of work for everyone! I knew from seeing this, I just HAD to make this! Let me be one of the many to say welcome back Drew, we missed you, and I hope you enjoy!))
It was a starry night that has been casted over Azeroth. With the new moon that has come this night, all that gave light down upon the world was a sea of stars that danced across the inky black sky. Underneath this shroud, two lovers laid on their backs. They watched the spectacle above, while hearing the quiet noises of the night.
The night elf watched up in awe, her eyes reflected the stars above. “Wow...” was all she could say from the beauty. She felt a small peck on her cheek, and quickly turning to her left she was faced with her beloved Human. He smiled at her, grinning ear to ear from the surprise on her face. The elf giggled, giving her boyfriend a proper kiss. She rested her forehead against his, now giving the young mage her attention.
“Thank you Khadgar, this is a very beautiful spot you picked for our date.” She expressed her gratitude by snuggling up into his shoulder.
“When I discovered how many stars I could see when I camped here last time, I instantly thought of you. Still, it’s great to know you liked it.” He rested his head against hers, as the two laid there uninterrupted underneath the moonless night.
Perry picked up his left hand, inspecting it. “What are you doing?” Khadgar asked, with a slight chuckle. Perry smiled, looking up at her lover, “I’m just admiring is all. After all, you have the most lovely hands I’ve ever seen. Cute and soft, strong but delicate, skilled, magical, and creative...”
Khadgar smirked, “Hm. This coming from someone with small pink hands?” Perry laughed, smiling brightly at him. “After all Perry, your hands definitely beat mine in softness and gentleness. They’re always smooth to the touch, even after you fight!” Perry lightly blushed, even more so after he lightly kissed the knuckle of hers. Her ears slightly raised higher, as her face returned a softer look.
“I love you Khadgar. Thank you for everything.” She rested her head back into his shoulder.
“I love you Peregrïn, I hope you always remember that...” These were the last words that left Khadgar that night. The two spent the remainder of their date stargazing, before eventually nodding off to sleep in each other's embrace.
