“Your art isn’t valued by the number of notes you get” okay but. If you spent 6 hours baking a cake for a party, but no one at the party eats your cake, it’s still disappointing.

This articulates something about the different between value and validation that I didn’t previously register on a conscious level.

This is why I tell people I feel more like an entertainer than an artist.

I want to hear them laugh, chat, comment, speak, roar, cry, get irrationally angry, I need people to respond to my art and get inspired and need more.

I don’t want a note, I want a response.

Responses are very nice. I like reading over them. They make me feel fuzzy. Of course, likes and reblogs are also very appreciated, but responses make me feel a special kinda fuzzy.

Responses are crucial for content creators. You can’t grow a plant without giving it some water. The day and age of internet has really spoiled us into thinking “seeing is the same as responding” and it’s just not. A million people can see your created content but without a response, it might as well be zero.

I have a whole tag for all the comments and nice words I get about my writing cuz I love to read them back when I have a bad day. Anons and comments about my fics make my day. Never be afraid to comment on my work

Yes, likes doesn’t determined your art quality but makes it feel like something worth it is when people respond to it. It feels sad if you make an art but no one appreciate it qwq

Hello there!

I present you the art concept for the Monster Councils. Now, the idea of this came from the wizards councils itself. I always wanted a dynamic political relationship between monsters and humans (even tho I myself hates politics).

Now, if I imagine that the councils would mix up then that means the relationship of the two races is relative peaceful. BUT, in my head Season 4 will be a war arc which there will be conflict till the downfall of monster race. Now….I can’t exactly make a rather peaceful two races and then suddenly go all out war. I need some conflict. Now the conflict would be a mistrust like believe that their race is more powerful than the other. The one who felt that dominant is human and the one who felt downgraded or feel “second grade” is the monsters. You can see where I’m going here. Fear is also play role cause each race seemed alien to them and we as humans tend to fear something that we don’t know and take an irrational decision or selfish one. Because of that they made their OWN councils to sustain their government or well…species…race…whatever you like to call it.

But even so with all of that, some of the monsters do get along with the humans. It’s like that their concern about self being but when you meet in person you don’t feel that hate. But some do hate each other. In the real world, you can’t avoid it.

The wizards councils and the monster councils knew each other. They meet often for either political reason or outside from their job. The color indicate their relationship with the wizards, the one they close too. Maybe their “Soul Representation” too but that could change.

Oh and unlike the Goldenflow Kingdom, the monsters have their own set of government. The capital or the head of the dominions is Echoflow Kingdom which is led by Asgore’s father before the war. The kingdom serve as the head of the dominions and have the above of them all. It’s like a country but Echoflow is the capital and the Dominions is the provinces. The dominions has their representative or leader or prince to become the Monsters Councils. The Goldenflow Kingdom is different as it is it’s own Kingdom and there’s other human kingdom too. While as Echoflow, is like the head but with several little kingdoms in it’s hands.
