Chapter 542 spoilers thoughts (mostly gruvia, erik/cobra appreciation and ultear)

First of all most important part is that we atleast get a panel of Gray protecting Juvia, and as stated by another supporter, that it’s the best panel of the chapter. (atleast in my view it is).

Complaint

:I would’ve liked more if the panel was rather larger in frame and stature. I didn’t look at the chapter spoilers before, but only assumed that the gruvia panel in the chapter was larger. When I looked at them, I  was disappointed that it just was a small one that was zoomed in. Every other character atleast got a large panel dedicated to them, even Evergreen, but apparently we get a small panel of Gray and Juvia’s big moment. 

Conclusion toward Complaint

 Anyways, hopefully we’ll get more moments (regardless of their minor or not), so I’m not going to complain too much about that.

Thoughts overall 

With that said, my eyes were definitely on that panel, and I was very happy about the whole context of it. Basically showing how Gray will do anything to protect Juvia that we all know, and quite frankly two lovers protecting each other from harm via exposing their body infront of the other is what makes this manga exciting when it comes to ships, because it shows how much either party can do so much for their loved one. It’s simple as that. Gruvia is simply canon. Gray and Juvia love each other, and nothing the antis can say will take that away from them. Gray and Juvia are happy with each other, and that makes me happy. :D

Another thing to notice is how it parallels one panel of Natsu protecting Lucy in the same fashion from previous chapters before, so good work there Mashima.

Let’s also give some appreciation and clap our hands for the most underrated dragon slayer in the series with some development of his own. 

Well done Erik/Cobra. I hope you and Kinana end up together. I really wonder where Meredy went. We have not seen her since the Neinhart fight, irrc.

and speaking of someone close to Meredy, let’s have another appreciation for an unforgotten beauty from the story.

HEY. IF THE WAR IS FINALLY REALLY FOR SURE OVER IN CHAPTER 536 AND LUCY ENDS UP BEING OKAY AND NATSU IS OKAY AND EVERYONE ELSE IS OKAY AND NO ONE ELSE DIES THEN WE’LL FINALLY GET TO SEE THE ANSWER TO THESE OMG PLEASE MASHIMA MAKE THEM CANON!

Aside from this, I hope Zeref is happy in the end and is able to be with Mavis, whether it’s on Earth or in heaven with their son.

THESE LAST 10 CHAPTERS ARE GONNA BE SO INTERESTING LIKE LITERALLY THE FATE OF THE SHIPS AND OF EVERYONE IS GONNA BE SHOWN LIKE IM SO HYPED

I've waited for so long

Natsu’s calling Zeref as “brother”

I understand now why Lucy was shaking while holding the book of END.

Back when Natsu woke up, he assured her that he would not die when defeating Zeref.

Lucy had unsteady faith in him on this subject, but chose to push the worry aside.

Then, chapter 523.

As Natsu begins his battle with Zeref, Lucy is once again questioning Natsu’s reasoning. She just has a bad feeling, but is once again, trying to push it away, because this is Natsu we are talking about.

But then, in chapter 527, worst fears come to pass as it is revealed that of course, Natsu’s life is still connected to Zeref; Mavis’ plan basically states this.

So when Lucy is handed the book, she of course feels completely overwhelmed by the fact that Natsu was wrong, and that Natsu could die.

Her look basically screams, “How is this possible” or “I can’t believe this is happening”.

My thoughts on fairytail 527

First of all, didn’t chapter 526 like come out on Monday or something? I don’t even understand the way fairytail is updated anymore…. also, I have no idea why I’m doing this, I just happened to read new chapter to make me fall asleep, and that was probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever done in my life.

A few weeks ago, I despised this character and I only thought of him as a weird, creepy pervert. But right now, I am in pain and I am crying. 

Look at his face! He’s so innocent and pure, he just wants some daddy love…. I desperately want to hug and protect this cinnamon roll right now!!!! And all I can think about is how cute he is, he’s  killing me with his despair….

And then Mashima did this,

What the H Zeref??! You weren’t this harsh to your lackeys 50 chapters ago!! You freaking asshat!!! (Pardon me for my language)

This is a weird punch….

Ummm… what?

What the fuck?

What the fuck?!

Please don’t tell me you committed suicide just because you saw your mom’s face….

….and he did! Why is that the two so called strongest mages in the spriggan 12 (did I spell that right?) decided to take themselves out by committing suicide?

At least Eileen’s reason was more understandable… but does Mavis even know that she has a child? Does August know that Mavis probably doesn’t even know if she has a child? 

So basically he babbled out his weakness (his mom) to his enemies the moment white dragneel first appeared…. too bad nobody caught that. Good plot twist Mashima, nobody saw this coming.

Mavis, you’re a horrible mother…. how the hell did she manage to give birth in that birth in that body anyway?

Wasn’t expecting this…

Or this. But I guess it’s pretty cool that Natsu acknowledges Zeref as his brother!

I can’t tell if Zeref looks good here or not…. I like Natsu though!
