Our pride is not cancelled.

My privilege being white, and CIS gendered has led me to be able to say this with anger, not fear in my heart. I don't have much of a following, but I'll be damned if I don't say something about it. If you don't want to / don't have the mental space to read this, I understand. Try to stay educated in your own way, while preserving your mental health.

Our riots, and protests have given us rights. (We aren't done, and haven't gotten all we deserve by a long shot)

My LGBT+ brothers, sisters, siblings, We aren't being forgotten. We aren't being left out. Our struggles aren't for nothing.

We have to use our voices to speak up for our black brother, sisters, and siblings who are fighting two battles at once. We have to give them our support as they have given to us.

One cause is not more important than the other.

But one cause can absolutely support the other cause with everything we have, and we have learned.

We need to give our voices for our family.
