“You don’t taste like coffee today” Chakotay leaned toward Kathryn, placing another soft kiss on her lips.  “You usually taste like coffee.” He pulled back from her, his hands resting on her arms.

“I couldn’t get my damn replicator to work.” Kathryn looked up at him, her brow furrowing “and I couldn’t get to the mess hall for any of Neelix’s poor-excuse –for- coffee substitute before having to be on the bridge.”

“Sounds like a rough morning” Chakotay raised his eyebrows, a cheeky grin spreading across his face.  “Why don’t you come to my quarters and we’ll get you some coffee.”

“Just coffee?”  She smiled at him, with that quirky half smile he loved so much

. “Captain, we are on duty, we hardly have time for anything else!” he laughed and feigned shock at her flirtatiousness, before pulling her against him, and claiming her mouth with his, for a deep kiss.
