being human was so iconic for giving us BOTH when the sun goes down AND smack my bitch up BACK TO BACK in the FIRST episode of the show
they should've had herrick get resurrected every single season only for him to keep getting viciously killed by a random werewolf appearing out of absolutely nowhere. by the time he gets resurrected in series 5 none of the characters left would even know who he is lol
this has haunted me for YEARS so now i'm gonna try to get an answer:
is spelling the name allison with two Ls actually uncommon in the uk or is the scene when allison makes everyone try to guess the spelling of her name and they think it's spelled differently just meant to show allison's personality as someone who likes spelling things for fun? cause if it's normally spelled with two Ls then is she causing them to guess less common spellings by making them think that it's an uncommon spelling by saying "bet you can't spell my name" like it's a challenge? spelling it with two Ls is my default assumption of how to spell it so i've always been so confused what was going on in this scene. i have to know!!!
i love the fact that in the webseries adam drags the chicken around in the tiniest circle. like he understood the use of chicken on a string but completely failed to realize that you're meant to circle it with like a mile radius
i thought it was kind of a weird coincidence that all the werewolves in being human were scratched and no one was bitten since i feel like in most werewolf media they get bitten not scratched and then i realized that im pretty sure the implication is that if you got bitten you just straight up DIED. like if a werewolf is attacking you and they manage to bite you then you're just a straight up goner cause you're gonna get totally mauled and bleed out. so it actually makes a lot of sense that all the werewolves on the show were scratched since it's a survivable wound that allows the curse to be passed on.
you've heard of manic pixie dream girl...
but what about manic pixie DEAD girl
I always forget what actually happens in episode 1x05 of being human because every time I think of it all i can hear is "DID YOU JUST HIT ME WITH A CHAIR????"
like that whole fight scene is so iconic and memorable that it overshadows everything else that happens in the episode even though i love that episode overall every other scene is a total blank for me
series 1 episode 1 of being human really hits different when you watch it directly after finishing the last episode of series 5. i mean i like series 5 but to go from the trio trying to kill the literal devil straight back into the simplicity of series 1 is just soooo refreshing
to clarify, this is about whether or not you're asexual and love the BRITISH TV SHOW called Being Human, not a question about whether or not you're asexual and love being a human being but I absolutely love this response nonetheless
