Since October, almost 33,000 Palestinian civilians have been killed as of April. Do not stop fighting for Palestine, we as people with platforms cannot afford to forget about them. As someone who watched Dan and Phil religiously in 2015, their love for eachother is something that genuinely gives me butterflies. Whether it’s romantic or platonic, the fact that they have lived together and spent almost everyday of the past 14-15 years together. They have been harassed, constantly compared to eachother, they have faced career highs and lows together, traveled the world together and yet they are still so unbelievably happy to be in the other’s presence. They’re such a marvel and I hope they stay this happy forever.
I miss experiencing happy moments without the grief of the fact that they’ll have to end soon interrupting them and making me sad. I miss experiencing happy beginnings without instantly seeing their endings and it’s why I can’t feel truly excited anymore.
My issues with Criminal Minds s16/17 as someone who likes but doesn’t love them
- unsubs take multiple episodes, or if you’re Elias Voit then multiple seasons and they’re not even lurking in the background either like they’re the main show
- it takes them entire episodes to figure out what used to take them a few minutes. In the first episode the fact that there was two unsubs was staring us right in the face yet it wasn’t until the last minute that they acknowledged it
- it feels like there’s some sort of weird vengeance against the old cast, specifically Thomas Gibson and Mandy Patinkin; they have done the latter dirty
- Rossi and Jill I mean there’s absolutely no need
- Luke and Tara are mainly used to boost other people’s storylines
- it feels quiet for some reason, I miss the constant dialogue. It feels like I’m watching one of those crime miniseries’ that are on channel 4 in the daytime at times
- more time is spent on cinematic shots than engaging storylines. Insane, amazing storylines used to be every single episode and now it’s just one spread across an entire season but it’s okay because we now have a wide view of Rossi’s house
- they’re trying too hard to make us like characters that we already love
- again I just need to hate on the entire Elias Voit storyline because Why please
They have a smaller budget. There aren’t as many people on the team.
Thomas Gibson was fired for allegedly kicking a writer and screaming abuse at writers and crew while directing. Mandy Patinkin supposedly left the show because there were complaints about him from the other cast members so they didn’t renew his contract.
Voit needs to go.
I miss the ‘monster of the week’ episodes. Those are interesting enough. There doesn’t need to be a big bad in every season or any season.

Mandy left because he was uncomfortable with all of the SA storylines on the show and he didn’t realise that the show he was signing up to was going to have such graphic scenes

i need the creators of the minecraft movie to actually sit down, and play minecraft. to start a survival world and build their first shitty house and experience the excitement of upgrading your tools and weapons and armour. to go to the nether and find a fortress and trade with the pigmen. to eventually go to the end and kill the enderdragon and struggle to pick up the egg. i need them to beat the game for the first time and see "and the universe said i love you because you are love"
This is the game they made a brain rot movie of and it is kinda sad seeing such a big piece of nostalgia turned into something that is clearly not geared towards the age group who was raised with it. They could’ve made something so beautiful and at least tried to replicate that magical feeling of being a kid and discovering/learning everything this game has to offer whilst the soft music plays in the background.

I know this probs isn’t specifically about me but in my defence to anyone who thinks I did this; I did work out what ages they would’ve been in what years (Spencer would’ve been 22 in 2003 when Spencer first joined so I found photos of matthew from 2002 because Matthew is a year older than Spencer like op says etc)
I completely understand wanting to stay child free like 100% because I’m not even sure if I want kids, but I’m afraid the child-free side of tiktok is now slipping into the age old tradition of treating women as less than once they become mothers.
It’s insane how often I see people sexualising and belittling mothers on that app and people thinking it’s ’modern’ to do that because they’re taking the ‘less traditional’ route of not having kids. My friend, mothers have been shunned in society just like child-free women for as long as time has existed, just for different reasons. This has just turned into a new way for women to hate women. You’ve all taken the bait so beautifully may I add.
