Let's allow the Spirit to lead us on solid ground by asking God to teach us.
When God gives you His peace, you have to receive it with a measure of faith. You have to trust Him. Not because you understand, but because you know who it is you are trusting - that He is faithful & good. Isaiah 26:3 says, "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you."
Its very important to seek God on decisions and in different circumstances; in the midst of it, when you seek Him, He gives you peace. Sometimes you won't receive understanding; but you have His peace, which surpasses your understanding.
Are you confused
about a decision?
The Bible tells us in
1 Corinthians 14:33
"God is not the author
of confusion."
If you don't have
clear direction
from the Lord..
then wait until
He gives you His peace
about the way
you should go.
God is not in a hurry,
so wait on Him before moving!
God wants us to live by discernment-revelation knowledge, not head knowledge.
Its difficult to exercise discernment if your always trying to figure out everything.
Trusting God often requires not knowing how God is going to accomplish what needs to be done & not knowing when He will do it.
Father, draw me to Yourself. Remind me that only in You will I know the real joy and satisfaction that my heart longs for. Help me to look beyond the surface things of life to what really matters.
Beauty, wealth, power, love, marriage, and pleasure are good things, but they’re not the best. The best is loving God and taking in His love—bringing Him glory and making Him our friend for life. That leads to the best possible life because it gives us satisfaction and true joy!
Jesus reminds us in the Gospel that whatever our treasure is, that is where our heart will find its satisfaction.
the truth is, you can have anything you want, but you can’t have everything you want.
The devil doesn’t come dressed in a red cape and pointy horns. He comes as everything you’ve ever wished for..
God has a plan for your life. The enemy has a plan for your life. Be ready for both. Just be wise enough to know which one to battle and which one to embrace.
