When my time comes, forget the wrong that I’ve done, Help me leave behind some reasons to be missed. RIP Chester Bennington (20th March 1976 - 20th July 2017)
Much-loved star of stage, TV and films including Harry Potter and Die Hard – and owner of one of the most singular voices in acting – has died in London.
Read about his life and career in The Guardian.
“On my business card, I am a corporate president. In my mind, I am a game developer. But in my heart, I am a gamer.”
Satoru Iwata (1959-2015)
Mr. Iwata was a brilliant and dedicated man. He brought joy and laughter to children and adults alike. His legacy will continue to live on for generations to come.
Thank you, Mr. Iwata, for all that you have done for me as well as many other fans. Your hard work has personally helped me through many hardships I faced in life, and it is with much sadness to see you go. Thank you so much, Mr. Iwata, for everything you contributed to the gaming industry–your fans are forever grateful.
“With immense grief, we are reporting to you that Mr. Satoru Iwata, the former President of Nintendo, has passed away. This information comes directly from Nintendo.
Coming from Nintendo…
Nintendo Co., Ltd. deeply regrets to announce that President Satoru Iwata passed away on July 11, 2015 due to a bile duct growth.
We send our condolences to Mr. Iwata’s family, friends, and all the fans that have loved and supported him for all these years. We ourselves are in complete shock here at Nintendo Enthusiast.”
This is a developing story…
I've changed my icon and wish to post two things in regards to the death of Internet reviewer JewWario.
First, I have no words I can properly express to his family and friends as to how sad I am for his loss. I hope together that somehow you can find a way to make it through all the pain of a loss like this. If it matters, from one fan of his show, I want to say I thought he was such a sweet, kind, loving person. I very much enjoyed his videos and am truly saddened that he's gone now. I wish I could say that in a way that sounded better... but Thank you, Justin, for everything. I just wish that in the heat of the moment, it hadn't come to this.
Next, I think the following sources say it better than I do.
I didn't know you, personally, good sir, but especially in the last clip shown in the Channel Awesome Tribute above, I feel like you cared even so. Cared, for everyone. You'll be missed.
