It was quite the buzz around here, finding you in the ice.

I feel like Steve and Natasha became such good friends because of how chill she was being around Captain America in the beginning. Even Coulson couldn’t keep it together, the poor bb.

But Natasha is like

Which Steve probably loved, all things considered. It was probably very relieving for him to find someone who didn’t give a fuck as much as Natasha didn’t.

I kind of want to headcanon that he specifically requested her as a partner for this reason.

And as far as Natasha’s concerned, well. She’s a master at being several different people trapped at one time. She saw through Steve’s Cap act right from the beginning. 

I like to think she found Steve intriguing for the simple fact that he wore Cap’s persona like a shield and wanted to know who he was underneath it all.

I am VERY excited for the new Black Widow series. Daredevil was consistently one of my very favorite comic books and I LOVE that creative team. Chris Samnee is a master of light and shadow and I can’t wait to read this book!!
