If you live in Austin, Texas or it’s surrounding areas please do not open any packages that you are not expecting. Do not even touch them.

If you did not order anything and nobody else did. Or if the package seems to be odd. Call your local police department and report that there is a unidentified package at your home and ask for assistance with it.

There have been 3 package bombings in Austin so far. One on March 3rd and two of them today(3/12/18). There are 3 reported deaths and one injury. These bombs are detonated via movement and opening and were believed to be placed at night.

Due to the fact that all 3 houses that were targeted were people of color (first two victims were black and the third was latinx) it is possible that this could be the results of a hate crime, however the reasons and culprits have not yet been found.

The Manchester bomber was banned from a local mosque and reported by the Muslim community around him multiple times. UK authorities didn’t act.

I repeat: Not once, not twice, not thrice. Five times. They were alerted five times by the Muslim community around the bomber and were ignored.

Specifically, two of his close friends reported him after he made comments praising suicide bombers.

And it was ignored. And instantly after this happened and the bomber was identified as a Muslim, people began saying how ‘Muslims need to take greater steps to confront extremism in their own communities’, even though a mosque literally banned him, reported him and two of his friends did the same when he began expressing extremist sentiment.

Muslims can’t win even when they do the right thing.

Even worse, they also had info from other counter-terrorist agencies that he had ties with groups in Lybia and that his father had them as well. They did nothing.

Woooow. So basically:

Non Muslims: Please weed out the extremist from your groups MOZLEMS you need to take action!

Muslims: Here he is !! We’re warning you he’s an extremist!

Non Muslims: …….

Amber Rudd ignored them.

If this happened to any other ethnicity, tumblr would be all over this shit, but nobody stick up for Jews in America because of what’s happening in Israel half a world away. As if Jews in NY have anything to do with the decisions of the Israeli government.

Regardless of how you feel about Israel, American Jews deserve support against antisemitism, persecution, violence and bigotry, the same as American Muslims, African Americans, Latinos, Asian Americans, Native Americans, etc.

Racism against one ethnic group is racism against all ethnic groups, as far as I’m concerned. Innocent clerics do not deserve to have pipe bombs put under their cars.

Yesterday a terrorist killed 41 people in a stadium in Al-Asriya, a few miles from Baghdad. It was a football tournament. Seventeen aged between 10 and 16 died. Had it happened in Europe, the entire world would be weeping; our politicians would spend hours saying how Islam hates the West and how we should ‘close the borders’ to refugees. But these boys died in Iraq, and some bombs are not as loud as others. May they rest in peace.
