the core of stewy and rava’s relationship that lives in my head is that they each think whatever the other has going on with kendall is worse. like stewy thinks rava is insane for marrying kendall because he thinks why would you legally tie yourself to him why would you become a roy why would you willingly continue the roy blood line and rava thinks stewy is insane for being friends with kendall because she thinks as his ex wife and mother of his children at least i have legal and familial reasons forcing me to still be in his circle why are YOU at the devils sacrament. when really they should get wine drunk and bond over their bad taste in men

yeah i love that one.... also because they fuck with most of their clothes on. like there's a contrast there with the types of intimacy they're comfortable with. you can see that they have a history when rava goes into the bathroom like that, but their sex scene is still... complicated and weird and speaks to kendall's general body issues.

also i do love when someone on succession goes into the bathroom in the middle of a conversation (shiv on her wedding night, kendall in safe room, etc) and rava is totally doing that to kendall in 1x03. it's like, this is emotionally overwhelming, so i need to retreat to the grossest place possible because it's the only place no one will follow me and bother me. the inherent safe space of the room designated for shitting in
