See the thing about Super is they did Yamcha //so unbelievably dirty//, like to a degree beyond a joke that it's almost not worthwhile addressing it because it's essentially a new character all together, the Yam we see at the end of Buu is completely different to super-

Meanwhile with Tien he isn't done nearly as dirty but that doesn't stop me from being ???? at what they did do- Like all those years of training and he's not even the strongest human?? mr recluse suddenly has a whole dojo just because? suddenly he's being the voice of reason?? Ep 90 truly makes me?? Because Tien was always throwing himself head first into training and fighting, regardless of if he had a chance of winning, because underneath all his stoicism Tien is actually quite reckless and impulsive at times- 

So him being all <:( Goku, we should play nice <:( feels so out of character, and the thing is I wouldn't be against Tien having finally chilled out a bit!! I would actually love that- I am always on the side of Tien treating himself more like a person than a machine, it could have been a very interesting character progression to see but they didn't show us how he got there //at all// It's a waste, imo

super could have easily fixed the whole trunks/mai thing if they just included a line from her about how she was named after her mother and how her uncles were a weird lil blue guy and a dog, bada bing bada boom, alt timeline, we’ve saved the show from an unnecessarily weird and sleazy plot
