What do you think about Yamcha and Majin Buu being on the team instead of Master Roshi and Android 17, during the Tournament of Power? I feel like the former two are the more organic choices narratively speaking - what changes if they’re chosen instead, in your opinion?
Ooh, Buu really did make sense on account of him, you know, being a super powerful being? Honestly I'd happily swap out Buu for Frieza lol But I actually liked the inclusion of 17! Roshi though, nah, that annoyed the ever living shit out of me to be completely honest, especially because it kind of tainted his story arc as a master? I really liked how in og DB he admitted that all his students (Including Yamcha!!) had surpassed him and I truly enjoyed that character beat for Roshi- Roshi is genuneily at his best when he's being wise and helping his students, so I feel like Roshi could have still been there in a mentor capacity if they were hellbent on including him, you know? But god I'm not even that caught on on Yamcha being on the team- like don't get me wrong more Yamcha, let alone Yamcha fighting is always welcomed but super was so nasty to Yam I'd have honestly been fine if he was, as my homie says "given the wife treatment" but them making him all cocky and sure he'd be asked only not to include him was straight up painul to watch tbh! So I really wouldn't be against seeing how the TOP could have gone with Buu or Yam, sounds wonderful, actually 🤧
