Yamato’s strength

It had been shown how much stronger Yamato is physically than Taichi. Even reboot did that :P.

Notice how some of the scenes from Digimon Adventure Tri where Yamato confronted Taichi, the brunette’s face was hidden from the audience’s view?

The infamous kabedon scene where Taichi ran away from Yamato? The scene where Yamato grabbed Taichi by the collar (movie 5) during the Alphamon-Jesmon battle? These are a couple of examples that I was referring to. It’s interesting that we don’t see from Yamato’s first person view 🤔

are we, as a community, ready to discuss the fact that WHICH (a song from tri.) is not only a song yamato sings about taichi but also that it has very non-platonic undertones to it, or do we have to wait another five to seven years before we do?

Rewatching back Digimon Adventure Psi and wow..The more I watch it, the more I can easily see the universe in an omegaverse setting 🧎🏻‍♀️Yamato fits the lone wolf so well with him being the one going solo to protect the people he cares for and Taichi just fits—The leader of the pack but in twist—-

I saw this one artist saying that Yamato is the hunter and Taichi is his prey AND it opened my eyes 😲

Like— That makes sense! Considering the amount of times Yamato was the one hunting Taichi down or the one starting things between them, I say hunter fits him perfectly 🔥

The height inconsistencies in Digimon Adventure Tri when it comes to these two is too much.

The other three did looked like they’re further behind these two 🤔 The boys’ heights are everywhere.)

Personally, I used this as the reference because I feel like this is their height if they were to put with other characters. (Can we talk about how cute these three are 🥲❤️)

I stand firmly on the 3-5cm height difference between these two since in Kizuna, they looked like they maintain that height gap between them 🥲✊🏻

when they're both willing to die together while holding hands when they're 11 and then again when they're 17 and then again when they're 22

BUTT

Anyways today I dreamt about some weird Digimon Adventure episode, everything seemed okay, but then out of nowhere Taichi and Yamato looked like their Tri versions and they were walking (the whole team was, but they were at the front leading) and Taichi was tired and being pretty whiny about it, so Yamato just went like "You know what" and freaking cARRIED Taichi bridal style, and he was very chill about it like "What? I used to carry Takeru like this all the time it's no deal" and my mind has been like wRITE A ONE SHOT U COWARD since morning y'all

Yamato and Taichi are those kind of couple where when they fight, they will still stay at least 1 metre apart from each other. They can’t be separated for far too long.

Even if they sulk and gave each other a cold shoulder due to awkwardness or because of a misunderstanding and difference of opinion, they will stay side by side, shoulders nearly bumping.

since tri was at least 80% yamato pining for taichi this is only appropriate
