I have been working with technology since I was 14, being neurodivergent and autistic with aphantasia. Throughout my career, I have observed that many neurodivergent people hold decision-making positions in technology, despite recognition still being limited. These positions provide these individuals with identity and financial independence. Technology can be an inclusive and empowering path for many of us. Denial of technology in job interviews is a factor for candidate elimination; denying the dynamics and changes of the job market will not make it stop changing.

A tecnologia acolhe muitos neurodivergentes, oferecendo oportunidades de evolução pessoal e profissional. Negar a IA é perder as oportunidades presentes de crescimento. A negação é um mecanismo de defesa contra mudanças, mas é preciso abraçar o novo para evoluir. Por ser um profissional da tecnologia, poderia ser um negacionista da possibilidade da programação se tornar inclusiva em uma linguagem natural, mas não o faço, pois sei que o verdadeiro programador é o que sabe além do conhecimento da ferramenta de programação. A arte não se resume a conhecer todos os tipos de pincel.
Denying technology is denying reality. As I mentioned, I am part of a marginalized group, and technology has provided me with a profession since 2005. Technology embraces many neurodivergent individuals, offering opportunities for personal and professional growth. Denying AI means missing out on present opportunities for growth. Denial is a defense mechanism against change, but embracing the new is necessary for evolution. As a technology professional, I could be a denier of the possibility of programming becoming inclusive in a natural language, but I don't, because I know that a true programmer is one who knows beyond the knowledge of the programming tool. Art is not just about knowing all types of brushes.

Hey, y'all in the notes: she wasn't asking you to call her beautiful or say she's adorable or "uwu she's so sweet i would die for her". She's asking you to interact with physically different creators regardless of if you think they're beautiful or not. Beauty standards are a farce and we need to stop implying that beautiful is the most important thing someone can be. Every person who says "oh she's so sweet I would die for her" or "anyone who calls her ugly is getting their kneecaps caved in": this is for you. You are being madly infantalising. It's like when you say to a fat person "oh you're not fat, you're cuddly" like, shut up! I thought we were past this by now. She is a PERSON and you are all scrambling to say just how beautiful you think she is, without even thinking about the message she is trying to send.
This isn't me saying she's ugly or whatever the fuck. I don't believe in ugly. This is me telling you all to stop being so fucking surface level with your beauty 'activism'. She knows what she looks like and she probably doesn't need hundreds of people infantalising her because they need to performatively show off how good they are and how much they don't care about traditional beauty standards. every single time israel fires on people picking up food or humanitarian aid it truly cuts me to the core. obviously it's equally horrible to fire on civilians escaping the invasion or to bomb hospitals or refugee camps or people just living in their own homes. but there's something so brutal about hitting people right when they have gathered for life-saving aid. by firing on them there the IOF have set up an impossible dilemma where starving people have to choose between death by bullet or death by hunger. they have left no room for palestinians to choose life. i do not know how my government or any other government can just sit by and watch while innocent people continue to be gunned down for the crime of existing in israel's eyeline.

Hey guys, I'm struggling with cash again, and there's no food in the house. We've been food insecure for a few weeks and today I can't take it anymore lmao, I need some help getting some groceries. Need some meat and fiber and some produce, some of us are getting a little sick and things just kind of suck. Won't get paid for another two weeks and unemployment only gave me $35, and job hunting is still rough.
I just need like a hundred bucks total at the very *minimum* to get us by for a week until some more money comes in. Waiting on my tax returns rn but we're sitting ducks. Any change anyone can donate will help so much, it all adds up and every time I ask you guys really help save my ass with groceries and I appreciate it, I hate having to ask so frequently but my family could use all the help we could get right now
