i was really excited about the new sheezyart but after posting so many things i just became annoyed with the tagging system and requirements 😔
i appreciate and respect the intent for accessibility and giving people the means to filter specific things, but there's like 15 different tags for different types of blood/gore or suggestive/sexual content and you're Required to tag fake cartoon blood or the most mild suggestive text with one of those 15 tags depending on certain specifics, and also any presence of weed whatsoever requires a mature rating (but cigarettes and alcohol are fine for all ages?)
it just became kind of exhausting feeling like i needed to scrutinize the massive tagging & rating guide for like 10 minutes every time i posted something because my art isn't always 100% immaculately sanitary. it killed the hype for me lol
i'm not necessarily saying the tagging & rating system is bad, it's just Not For Me lmao. not something i want to deal with

I could do just another "any oc once a day" but I've also been thinking about like, a month of just woman ocs or a month of just nb ocs... it would be nice to have a proper recent picture of every oc I have lol. A Short Stay in Hell by Steven L. Peck: really cool, unique, and dreadful concept. the prose didn't do it for me but I still thought it was a good story
Earthlings by Sayaka Murata: infuriating from start to finish. I have complicated feelings. I... liked it, for the story it told, about abuse and allonormativity and delusions, and my heart ached for the main character, her cousin, and her husband. but it was... SO hard to read. I fucking hated every other character and the world this story existed in. this book also gave me weird fucking dreams. I don't regret reading it but I'll never touch it again lmao

writing alt text for images for posting on bluesky and the difficulty of trying to describe some of my ocs in just a sentence or so is tbh part of the reason i dont write a lot of prose lmao
like for the most part not a lot of them are really "out there", but how would you accurately describe VR in under 20 words? how would you describe Tro or any of the other VWers? or some of the designers?
though I'm not complaining. 9 pics in and i've already gotten the hang of it. it was also hard to start because trying to describe my art in plain words felt really, weirdly embarrassing. but that feeling has also mostly gone away already
adding the text to my backlog on tumblr is a long term goal... over 1000 posts in my art tag lol. i'll probably start from most recent and go back
