theyre sort of the main "antagonist" of ap, but ap odesnt really have a story and neither riptide or shadow/mosr of my ocs are involved with her really. they r the leader of this organization that im STILL yet to name thats researching missingno, which they got their hands on..somehow. she wants to see how they can use its reality bending powers to her advantage and, idk, tkae over the world with it. missingno is still a sentient pokemon btw and can feel things, emotionally and physically, i could get into it some time, you might see me call it 'lavender' because thats what some people who are researching it nicknamed it

shes a mimikyu with a yveltal costume, she changes it out alot but the yveltal one is their default, i/she picked it because even though shes obviously not a legendary pokemon, it still makes people feel a little unsettled and more inclined to follow her

no one who really works for them know her directly. my friend's oc zesty(hi crepe) who you might have seen in my art a few times works for her as a hitman, and she tore out his ribbons and used them for a sylveon costume(which is the 3rd pic) .....Yea....zesty is also dating riptide and shadow thats a fun awesome fact 👍 cascade, who is aLSO another friend's oc(hi tommy) has the same job but doesn't know boss directly. zesty has special treatment i guess idk

the "closest" person to her is dr. goo and theyre extremely funny to me. dr. goo thinks that theyre dating and boss fucking hates him

quick ramble slightly related to the comic i jut posted

so thunder DID create solaria, which ive said here before, he was the first pure angel (sort of? he doesnt really function like pure angels do but its close enough) which technically implies hes a shapeshifter i guess

he created like, this pocket in space which im still figuring out on naming, so he had a place to hang out. blood moon is also there too, i have a vague idea of how blood moon came to be which was splitting off from thunder somehow. it could have been from the energy it took to create his little space pocket thing, and it split off part of his energy and blood moon popped out. thunder only really set the foundation of solaria, like the pure angels do to planets

in this little place he made, anything is really possible, the default is a field of endless clouds but thunder and blood moon have full control of the reality of this little place. (ofc thunder has a bit more power than blood moon) they can make it a complete replica of any place they want it to be, can summon any object or person into it, and can make portals to the other planets on solaria. they dont usually visit the other planets though and always wipe the memories of them visiting if they do (so rory was okay in the end LOL he just revived him and rory woke up in bed likenothing happened)

the pocket is not visible in solaria from space or anything, but i imagine when they open it(which is very rare) its like a little rip in space and you can see inside. i might add it to the solaria solar system map when i name it

basically, thunder is in the ultimate creative mode

its actually my most. under developed planet...so i dont even know... i really wanna figure out what more to do with it though! i can talk about the very few things ive come up with though:

obvious, but its my only planet that has both pokemon and normal creatures mixed in!! i dont know what the logics of this are....LOL

ive always imagined it as overmorrow's sibling in a planet way, theyre very similar to eachother in terms of how things work and their society and stuff. maybe i'll figure out a way to connect them, im thinking around when they were forming as actual planets. its just hard to think about cuz pure angels arent related to eachother/interact with eachother often. but ofc everything doesnt happen in like 5 minutes, the period where overmorrow's pure angels were still walking around on there was probably for a couple million years. maybe ere's were friends with overmorrow's? thats really interesting to think about actually

also its got elemental magic! usually i love coming up with how magic works in my worlds (overmorrow is definitely my favourite thing ever with this stuff) but this im struggling with a bit LOL i'll come up with how it works eventually though. i love elemental magic and it has so many fun ways of working. i think a while ago i had talked abt (not on here) that every creature on ere is born with one elemental power? i guess pokemon on ere are just born with magic related to what type theyd have if it exists as ere magic?

im kinda stuck on how everything works really. all the oc designs ive put in ere are very cluttered and random and ive always been like oh, it deosnt have to make sense, but i love making Everything Make Sense in all my planets LOL i think the general rule is that theyre all semi-anthro or whatever. overmorrow/ap/terropia is all anthro, twopix is all feral, and ere is in the middle!

ere is supposed to be heavily inspired by wolves life 2, and so is twopix. but theyre inspired by it in different ways. i still dont really know how the setting really is on ere which is what i think im stuck on. i dont imagine them too like.. modern? but also i sorta do... so i'll probably but it in the middle LOL

im honestly really glad you asked this cuz talking about what i remember has gotten my brain gears going with it again!!

Ok I have a little bit more confidence since that last post about what Cross Current's music sounds like sooo. Might as well talk about the songs I associate with Riptide and Shadow (it's based on Vibes and what I think they'd like to listen to, not so much the lyrics. Except for one but shhhuuuu) I am still shy so you have to be so nice to me and give me so many treasts

Shadow is so very pettable and softness. I think you could so pet him. He doesn't act like he hates it but totally hides how happy it really makes him. He gets awkward and shy about it i think... he has waggy tail disease though!!!! when you pull your hand away he would grab it and smack it back on his head. Actually he's too shy to do that but he's doing that in his head.

Riptide doesn't like it, only Shadow is allowed to touch him at all or he gets upset . ESPECISLLY if you touch his head fins... but maybe he would let you hug his tail if he trusts you (it's very huggable. And squishy.) shadow sometimes hugs it on really hot days cuz riptide is always a bit cool to the touch especially if he's just been in cool water

I'm gonna be completely reworking a bunch of my ocs I think. Specifically for overmorrow, I had so many ocs piled up with nothing on their character, so I'm just gonna... throw em all in the Oc Storage Box and keep a handful for overmorrow. Hopefully this includes redesigning and changing up a few of them! I've been working on it a bit today, there's still quite a few but it's a lot more controlled feeling than before. LORD I felt so unorganized with Overmorrow's chatacters !!! It's refreshing !!!

This is also related to the other post where I mentioned Night wouldn't be a sona of mine anymore. I just don't feel any attachment to him like I used to especially in a Sona Way, so. I'll make a new self insert/sona for overmorrow one day :))) it takes so long for a character to stick to my brain as a sona so it'll be a bit till I find one that fits for overmorrow, but I don't want to not have a me guy in my main universe yaknow? Thunder technically counts but he isn't canon in overmorrow and he just Doesn't Fit to me

I'm gonna try to draw all of them on a big sheet (just their faces cuz Oh Mt God I would die) so everyone can see which guys I've kept and stuff! And other ones I've never shown on here as well!

Fun Riptide fact: I chose his name after the minecraft enchantment. About a year ago I came across a riptide book in a game and the rest was History....

Fun fact...s about the two characters in the art I posted today, they're from a planet called Ere! (It's right next to Overmorrow in the solar system!) Pokemon weren't originally gonna be living in Ere but I thought Eclipse fit right in with the whole vibe. It's a pretty new world so there's not much actual worldbuilding I have to talk about yet compared to OV.

Also, Glowstick's stripes glow(which, yk, obvious from the name) And all the teal parts like her eyes, ears, paws, nose, etc, change colour depending on her mood. Teal is the default! I'll probably make a ref with all the colours she can change to. It's mostly obvious stuff, like red = angry, yellow = happy, yeah. (Eclipse also glows because he's part umbreon too, lol)

I think I need to just make rambly silly posts like this abt my universe more often xD

Imagine thunder but he's the same species as toothless from the books. Toothless daydream. Or uh... common or garden dragon. (Fun fact, I named a dragon species in overmorrow the same thing.)

Honestly I only just noticed how weird it looks seeing Shadow wearing Riptide's shirt (or anything that's not black, red or dark blue...) makes me think of how weird Riptide with all of Shadow's usual colours on his clothes would look like. He's a very brightly coloured dude so it would be WEIRD lol

That or him with long sleeved shirts and pants. It sounds weird but I doodled him once with a sweater and pants and it didn't look right somehow! I'm convinced Riptide has never worn pants in his life.
