When you’re watching the extended edition for the thousandth time and inspiration strikes.

I watched Battle of the Five Armies with my mom last night and at the end she said, “So what happened to Treadmill and Greensleeves?” 

I was like “WHO WHAT?”

She said, “You know, the blonde elf guys, Treadmill and Greensleeves.”

I said, “You mean THRANDUIL and LEGOLAS?!”

She said, “Yeah, that’s what I said.”

“My Lord Treadmill, I did not expect to see you here.”

“Greensleeves, what do your elf eyes see?”

I bring word from Elrond of Rivendell. An alliance once existed between elves and men. Long ago we fought and died together. We come to honor that allegiance.

Elves: Dwarves are so greedy!
