Man walking around the copy of the dsmp world is almost... haunting Almost feels like the reverse of the typical fourth wall breaking situation, instead of the characters breaking out, we broke in, and now we wander through the remains, free to inspect.

i cant get over it. people unburying chests and undiscovered builds. finding the random death sites with inventories that weren’t despawned, leaving you to wonder who was this? who died here? how did they die? spawn has so many grave sites for like so many things. all the signs and books. its haunting. its beautiful. there was a whole civilization here.

the dsmp world download is sooo post apocalyptic world. like the mushroom infestation covering up half the underground buildings. the leftover signs of friends joking around with each others, unopened presents, "do not touch! for game!" signs on completely full chests, half finished farms, a completely empty place that was once vibrant and full of life

got the dsmp map and now im thinking about how c!purpled built an ugly arch over the prime path because "everything that's high quality and looks good on this server is destroyed, only the ugly looking buildings stay" and then ctommy happened to want to clean up the server and one of the only things he destroyed was purpled's ugly arch. nothing he built could last. that's so fucking crazy. like it wasnt even intentional. the completely accidental depth of his lore drives me crazy
