It’s kinda sad when you think, oh god, what happens when Selim finds out his dad is a homunculus. I mean he wants to work under his father as a state alchemist and this kid is like nine years old so he has no clue what’s going on.

Bucket: yeah, I’m not looking forward to that at all (the all being dragged out).

Bucket: ah thank you! I am…sad, because they seem so nice and unaware of who Bradley actually is? Like, ugh, I’m gonna die when they finally find out, the dramatic irony of the scene where Selim reads out the essay on Bradley was like a punch to the gut.
