The Alnwick Poison Garden is pretty much what you’d think it is: a garden full of plants that can kill you (among many other things). Some of the plants are so dangerous that they have to be kept behind bars. [x]

Oh dear, I’ve been to this garden! We were wandering round being very careful not to touch any plants and my brother suddenly said “I’m not feeling very well..” and proceeded to collapse. As you’d expect the staff freaked out and he was wheelchaired out and a doctor was called in! Fortunately after 30 minutes it was determined he was just dehydrated but that was the least appropriate time to collapse ever…
