What?

financial goals: bathtub that’s deep enough for me to be 100% fully submerged; preferably one of those triangle corner ones. Also maybe being debt free but the tub comes first

me, 8 years old, sitting in the largest bathtub that they have on display in the Home Depot:

destroy the idea that intermediate goals aren’t important. maybe you can’t play the entire piano piece yet, but you can play the right hand and that’s good. maybe you haven’t figured out your major yet, but your minor or your field and that’s progress. maybe you can’t hold a full conversation in your target language yet, but you can ask for directions and that’s fine. setting high goals is good, but don’t diminish the small goals you achieve on your way there. they are just as important.

future apartment goals:

- small but not cramped - balcony - has a bath + shower - big kitchen - good wifi - big windows - located close to a 24/7 corner store

the bar is…… so low?

and yet it’s nearly impossible

My actual goals are to be so successful & independent that I can spoil myself and my family and do what I love and go where I want whenever.

just wanna drive to the beach in sweats & a blanket & sit on the shore w/ someone & have a deep convo enjoying the oceans view & sounds

2014 goal: party like a hobbit but look like an elf

drink like a dwarf

fight like a man

smoke like a wizard

hoard gold like a dragon
