Sometimes you write/direct/perform in an amazing show that completely sells out every night, and your significant other of a year doesn't watch it even once. They tell you they'll help you get ready in the final night and don't show up or call. At curtain call, you think maybe they'll be there with flowers, and instead you receive 3 bouquets from the cast, crew, and audience, and then you cry on stage and every single person in the theater gets up and hugs you, and you realize you have nothing to be sad about.
