Flashback to the very first burlesque act I ever created—The Unburnt, Daenerys Targaryen. 🐉🐉🐉 I made this act, which I performed to a mix of a metal version of the Game of Thrones theme and “Royals” by Lorde, in January of 2014 for my very first ever solo burlesque number (I’d been in some group acts for @remydee504’s Nightmare before Christmas show a few weeks before). I debuted the act at Siberia for a Comic Con show with the Babydolls, fell in love with both burlesque and embodying the fearless, beautiful Mother of Dragons, and had the pleasure of performing it all over New Orleans (including for 8 nights of performances for @thesocietyofsin’s very first attempt at a Game of Thrones show) and even in one of my first shows outside of Nola in Jackson, MS before laying it to rest after about a year and a half of regular performances. (I liked being a Targaryen so much that I even dyed my hair Khaleesi’s signature silvery white and have kept it long since taking the act out of rotation. 🧝🏻‍♀️🖤) But the time has finally come for me to bring this one back to life!
