Bought a Surface Pro 4 this friday since my drawing tablet stopped working for me. I was kinda skeptical about it at first, but this thing really draws nicely! Expect more drawing (hopefully). I’ve been fighting some serious depression and I’m hoping this will make it feel easier for me to sit down and draw.
Sketch/WIP dump from the past few days! I haven’t actually inked anything like I wanted to for inktober, but I have been sketching so at least that’s something. I’ve been practicing looking at pictures of either animals/people and trying to draw them with a single line (without the pen leaving the paper) and without looking at the paper itself. It’s kinda a cool way to practice drawing what I see rather than what I think I see. Also, a WIP of a possible Gravity Falls things with Bill/Dipper? idk.
A dump of sketches and doodles from this past few weeks. Trying to understand and learn the human figure, so I've been trying to sketch bodies as warmups before doing actual coloring/drawing. Hopefully it'll start to help me understand the shape of human bodies.
I've been kind of in a slump today.. idk. Weird sketch of KO and an attempt to merge his face with a flower, lol. Also tried fleshing out a female TF OC I've had running around in my head. Her story is still being made, and she doesn't really have a name yet. Though her alt mode will be an F-16, because I work so closely with that jet everyday, and because I haven't really seen many OC's with that alt mode. I plan on making her a non-allied OC- one of the few that left Cybertron while they still could before the war got even more heated.

Updating because it's been a while!
What've I been up to? I've been pretty busy... Busy traveling and busy working mainly. Not really working on art though. :( Though since I got my first smartphone with comic-reading capabilities, I've now got 24/7 access to my favorite transformers comics. 8) Soooo that leads me to be inspired to draw more in my downtime when I have it, which is awesome. I'm planning on drawing a Blurr (as you can see from the sketch) for Auto Assembly this year. I wanna try and make a bunch of prints of my TF stuff and sell them at the Fan Table this year if I can go. I won't lie- I was slightly disappointed that there weren't many people who recognized me when i told them my tumblr/dA username at the con, but that's probably because I'm not really well known to begin with. :P
Anyways, as you can see, new art! Kinda. One's a complete piece, a logo I drew for Blue Ghost on SoundCloud (check his stuff out!) and the others are just repaints of Magic cards, haha. But at least it's something, right?

My base sketches for paintings are really crappy, lol, so I'm sorry for the horrifying quality of my doodles.
Also tried SAI for mac a while ago. Had fun playing around with that. I'll need to try and use it more often. The lineart used in the SAI screenshot isn't mine, I was given permission to use it for color practice and to test SAI out. Lineart belongs to JJStar.
Some sketchy stuff. I don't think I'll finish either one of these. Shockwave was a test to see if I could actually draw him without a ref, and Breakdown... BD was being difficult color-wise and I'm not really happy with the composition.
