I also think they would love sports, it would give those honed instincts that are so satisfied by the pursuit of thread something to do in the intervals, and also give the riders something to do in intervals outside of sitting around (and a reason for the holds to keep funding them! a sporting event provides not only entertainment, but lots of opportunities for trade and diplomatic relations)

Young dragons are capable of getting into all kinds of things because they have racoon like crime hands. Think your clothes chest is safe without a lock? Think again! The weyrling dragons are energetic, curious, and have dexterous little hands, and now your belongings are scattered all over the barracks!
