WWE’s WrestleMania 28 pay-per-view did end up being the single most purchased pro wrestling pay-per-view event in history, based on new data that are likely the final numbers for the event.
These updated numbers include late recorded buys and have WrestleMania 28 doing 1,253,000 buys – 733,000 domestic and 520,000 internationally.

Undertakers left shoulder was in bad shape and he was banged up when the Hell in a Cell match with Triple H was over at WrestleMania 28. However, he came out of Hell in a Cell less injured than he came out of the WrestleMania 27 match.
Regarding Triple H’s status, he will wrestle sparingly from here on out as office work is taking a priority. The belief is that he will still do some matches from time to time.

The Mick Foley and Dean Ambrose video from WrestleMania 28 weekend in Miami has been a hot topic among wrestling fans and people in the wrestling world. The idea behind the program is to build the angle as if it was a legitimate confrontation between Foley and Ambrose that wasn’t scheduled to happen, and then play off that to build Ambrose’s character. As we noted, the entire thing was planned and WWE writer Ed Koskey was there taking notes and watching the whole thing.

Foley:
“Having a blast with my kids at Disney. Not really concerned about some guy I’ve never heard of.”

Ambrose:

Rosa Mendes continued ranting on Twitter Wednesday about Epico and Primo being left off the WrestleMania 28 pay-per-view. As noted before, these comments from she and Epico are all part of the storylines:
“The dark match at #Wrestlemania isn’t televised, we are Tag Team Champions!! I’m livid!!! Get it? Got it? Good!!”
“We are the most entertaining, athletic team in #WWE!!! People want to see us and wish they could be us!!”
“The fact that Maria Menounos had a #Wrestlemania match and we didn’t. Disgusts me!! We are tag team Champions! It doesn’t make any sense!”
Despite WrestleMania 28 being in The Rock’s hometown of Miami, WWE officials had been going with the idea of John Cena winning for months. The real discussions about The Rock winning reportedly began about a month ago. Still, most people within WWE thought that Cena would win.

Brock Lesnar signed his one-year deal with WWE before he arrived in Miami during WrestleMania 28 weekend. The decision was made over the weekend to keep Lesnar off WrestleMania and have him return on Raw Supershow the next night.
The main reason for keeping him off WrestleMania was to not tarnish the end of the story between John Cena vs. The Rock because the idea is for Lesnar to be kicking off a “new chapter.”

WWE crew members were still taking down the sets for WrestleMania on Tuesday evening. It took three days of work and over 60 crew members to return SunLife Stadium to its original state.
WWE officials were generally happy with the way the WrestleMania 28 pay-per-view came off on screen.
