There is a lot of talk going round that Cena 'botched' the German suplex last night at Night Of Champions. Having his shoulders on the mat was written into the storyline because WWE wanted CM Punk to retain the title, but not by beating Cena clean and potentially making him (Cena) look weak. The finish catered to both of these aspects and gives more scope for a continuation of the feud at the Hell In A Cell PPV.
Hopefully this clears things up.
Zack Ryder becomes the #1 contender for the US Title and will face Antonio Cesaro later on tonight.
The middle ring rope will be pink tonight, in support of cancer awareness.

Sources reported this morning that JBL and WWE reached an agreement for him to work tonight's Night Of Champions PPV and tomorrow night's Raw on commentary, filling in for Jerry Lawler.

A triple threat match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship is expected to take place at Night Of Champions involving The Miz, Rey Mysterio and Cody Rhodes.
It should be officially announced at tonight's Smackdown tapings.
