Those old times!!!!
These guys, the definition of insanity...
I can't propely deal with those faces.😄🤨
What do you think @chicago-pd-is-weird @kamryn1963
Soo, one of the most tragic things about Jay Halstead is probably how this man's mind is really fu** up.
He clearly have daddy issues and not to mention PTSD, leading him to anxiety, a level of Depression...
Like in this scene, clearly having Nightmare about the days on the middle East.
I love Torres. He is impulsive, morally grey, dry humour, and with a bit of Voight in him. His background makes him interesting. He has a lot of potential, hope it'll be explored.
Hope more of Dante Torres this Season. He is an interesting caracther for me. And yes, Hank voight could make a tag team in a few moments
Crossover all around, not only with one chicago, but Law and Order series and Fbis
One of those fun Moments of Jay Halstead
If Chicago PD and FBI Internacional Crossover having Jay Halstead and Wes Mitchell activied in both.
Same Energy...
Since I watch pd & International and Jesse is in both now. I included the tags I use for both shows.
I will continue to post anything related to Jay's character with the proper tags.
And his new character Wes Mitchell in International with the right tags too.
Imagine the mess if they crossover and have Jesse Lee Soffer playing both parts...it's like having Chris Evans playing captain América and John Stormy
There are very few stories that do the trope of a good character slowly becoming more corrupt by their circumstances and it gets to the point that season 1 character wouldn’t recognize them ( a facet of grumpy/sunshine character’s slowly switching places)
One of my favorite examples of this is Chicago PD. In one of Jay Halsteads last appearances in the show he makes the comment, “we’re doing it again”. This comes on the second happenstance of the team covering up an unjustifiable killing.
You can see as we go from season one Jay who makes no secret of not trusting Voight and practically outright saying he’s dirty to season 10 Jay who is slowly turning into Voight by letting more and more things slide.
I feel like it gets to a point where you can see the guilt eating Jay alive which is why he leaves.
Anyway please let me know if you disagree with this take or if you have any thoughts!
Honorable mentions for this trope: Merlin from BBC’s Merlin, Lucy from The Rookie and I’ll come up with other characters shortly
Indeed... his final move that make more notable how he starts let Hank Voight influence him, was with that federal agent. Pointing how the same man that want Voight behind bar, under the papers erase his addicit brother walk out with no crime Record. Tell him to step back or everyone will known...
You can't run away of the misterious aura Hank Voight has on him. Hailey was also suck in his black hole of influence. And besides everything, that's what make him soo hipnotic.
And think Jay have to step back, just to remember himself who's he is. But I believe that Halstead trust in the Result Voight style bring to the table
Just two handsome men fighting bad guys for life
Soo this what happens when Chicago PD crossover with Game Of Thrones.
Jay Stark Halstead
MY THEORY ABOUT WES MITCHELL/JAY HALSTEAD YES I’M SCREAMING
What if WHAT IF Jessee looks just like Jay in FBI: International because HE IS JAY? And "Wes Mitchell" sounds so much like a fake name because it’s his new identity under witness protection after seeing and dealing with some shit in Bolivia.
AND that’s why he didn't respond to Hailey, because he had to go dark to protect her. They sent Jay (as Wes) to Budapest to keep him safe.
BUT then Hailey applies to the FBI in New York and joins Isobel’s team.
Later, there’s a case where all three FBI teams work together, and Isobel sends Hailey to Budapest (or wherever they’re working the international case).
AND when they’re about to introduce her to the boss, she’s like “WTF, JAY?” And Jay goes, WTF? IN PANIC and goes like “ehem, Jay? Who dat? You must be confusing me—I’m Wes. Wes Mitchell.”
BUT SHE KNOWS. AND HE KNOWS THAT SHE KNOWS. AND SHE KNOWS THAT HE KNOWS THAT SHE KNOWS.
and they kiss each other with their sights
Wait for my fic????
Okay! Interesting thoughts! Could be a twist...
I wonder, why sometimes fans known what to do with a show better than the creator itself..
It's like conspiring that Alvin Olinsky is Inna witness protection program, instead of dead, like Alex Cabot From SVU...
Good fic
You wouldn't survive in the asylum that they created me
Oh Gosh the way I was reading this having his gravely voice in my head is ridiculous
This moment with Jesse Lee Soffer in a Puppy Interview
Jay saved Gabby and when Antonio asked him what he wanted his instant response being intelligence is one of my favorite moments.
Ironically Jay almost become Antônio Dawnson Bro In Law
